She first inspected the place for a few days and I guess, felt that we , my room mate and I ,are pretty harmless.
Since then,it laid 2 eggs and incubated them.
I went to my native on April 6,2009 .The same morning ,I had a peek below the pigeon's body and caught a glimpse of a new born chick. The other egg was still intact. The chick looked very ugly then.
It was then. When I returned on April 16,2009 , there were 2 chicks. Both bit bigger but yup, ugly at the same time. They did not look like pigeon's chicks.
In the last 5 days, they seem to be looking a bit better ,with all new feathers. They are very scared though, even when I feed them.
The mommy Pigeon too gets scared, despite the fact the she has been using my turf since over a month.
Every morning ,the first thing I do is, stealing a peek into their private world. The way , the mommy Pigeon feeds them , their habits....... But I must say ,that they are boring creatures ,compared to chickens or parrots.
