2 Mannerless girls

Yesterday,we had a free eye-check camp at office. As per the schedule,it started at 10 AM. I did not want to waste my time in a long queueue,so I reached there 2-3 minutes early. To my surprise, already there were quite a few people in the line.

There were few guys in the front and even further ahead ,there were around 7-8 pesky girls from a particular department of our company. This department is adjacent to mine and we have observed most of the people there, guys and girls, procrastinating and indulging in a very "gaon-wale" kinda behavior.

Now,these 7-8 pesky girls were making lot of noise and all that. That was fine but what was not that, there were more girls joining them. They would come and chat with them and then join the line, along with them, instead of mainitaing the queue.
This way,3-4 girls got ahead of us and nobody said a word to them, though the guys behind me were murmuring that this is not fair.

After sometime,2 girls came from behind, saw one of those pesky girls and tried joining them. Arre yaar, what is this? Are not these people a bit disciplined? There are lot of people in the queue and they give them a damn and join the line?
The 2-3 guys behind me in the queue started murmuring again.
Enough was enough. I asked the guys ,"shall we talk to them?", They said "yeah,we defintely should".
Out of the 2 girls, one was very cute and the other one, ugly with lot of make up on.
Then,I requested the girls to maintain the queue discipline. the ugly one said "we had come before,we just went away for a while".That was a lie.I told her,"you didn't and you know that".Agan,I told both of them,"please maintain the queue".

To my surprise, the other guys did not utter a single word. I requested them again,"you guys add to what I say, then they definitely will go back and join the line". They said "yeah, yeah".

I told the girls the same thing again and that we have been waiting for a long time and this is just not done. The guys behind me in the queue as well as the ones ahead me (but behind the 2 nasty girls) only looked on ,again did not say a thing. It looked like I was the only one having the problem. Had one more person seconded me,they would have gone back. But nobody did.
And the 2 girls remained ahead.

After a while, the guy in front of me who was chatting with his friend, seemed to be a bit out of the queue and it looked like I was ahead of him (though I had no intention of snatching away his turn). After sometime,he told me "Boss,I am ahead of you". I retorted," You did not seem to have a problem when those girls who were far behind ,went ahead?". And then, the shameless guy replied " It is not my fault? Aaapne bhola unko, woh gayee nahi naa?".
I said "It is not your 'fault' but you should have seconded me when I was asking them to maintain the queue, especially since you seem to care so much about the queue discipline.Had one more person seconded me,they would have gone back."

I know you guys must be thinking that this is just a trivial issue for which I got so frustrated. Agreed,it is but what would have happened if things were reverse. I mean to say,if there were more women in the back queue and some guys tried to join in the middle or front, the women would have 'collectively' started bickering and pushed the guys back.Just like ,we witness in bus, when guys sit on ladies' seats.

50 First Dates

I saw the movie '50 First Dates ' today.
It released some years back and stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

'50 First Dates' is a romantic comedy. Drew loses her memory in an accident and does not remember anything since. The film is about how Adam makes her fall in love with him everyday.

No suspense, no action sequences in this feel good movie.

Both Adam and Drew have given solid performances, so have the rest of the cast. Drew looks gorgeous in some scenes.

It is a good,romantic watch.

Luck By Chance- Review

Recently, I saw 'Luck By Chance' at a nearby theater.

In 'Luck By Chance' , Farhan Akhtar and Konkona Sen Sharma's play struggling actors.
They meet many interesting personalities on their way.

Rishi kapoor plays a movie producer, Isha Sharvani , a star kid, and Dimple Kapadia, her mom.

Farhan gets a big break in Rishi Kapoor's movie opposite Isha, after the original hero, Hrithik Roshan walks out. Meanwhile Konkana continues to do inconsequential roles.

'Luck By Chance' may not be a great movie but it is definitely watchable.
Farhan is good.Konkana ,as always, reliable and admirable. Rishi and Dimple are fantastic.

Juhi Chawla appears in a small role. Her role does not make any difference to the story but she looks glamorous and as always,is fun to watch.

And whom did I like the most? Isha Sharvani. She looks ssssoooooooooooooooo cute. and yup,she does dance steps which nobody in Bollywood can do. Do not believe me? Watch the end of 'Bhaavre' song with Hrithik.
