Stupid Karisma's stupid acting

Karisma is known for her over-acting..Out of around 80 movies she has done, she must have given decent performances in around 5 movies.
And yes, some good dancing in around 4-5 movies too but besides that, it has been crap all along, just like her sister Kareena.

These two are definitely 2 of the most over hyped actresses ever.
Just picture this .'Karsma has won a National Award but superb talents like Kajol and Sridevi
haven't. What an irony.

Anyway,catch Karisma's over acting once more and that too, on a reality show.

DASVIDANIYA- Movie Review

I just saw this movie today.

DASVIDANIYA is a touching tale of a dying caner patient Amar,played by Vinaya Pathak.

The tagline of the movie is 'The Best Good Bye Ever'

Dasvidaniya is a simple movie which captures Amar's journey in his last few months.

Amar leads an absolutely boring life and lives with his mom,played by Sarita Joshi. Amar ,being a very simple guy ,is teased by everybody at office and exploited badly by his boss.

When he learns of the deadly disease that he suffers from, he takes a re-look at his life and plans to achieve the things he always wanted to .

At places,humor is also sprinkled in fine form.

The movie has an excellent support cast. The actors who play Amar's friend,brother ,Neha (overacted in the first few minutes, then calms down), his mom, his love interest, everybody has given wonderful and believable performances.

Verdict: Watch this for its simplicity and emotional depth .

Department Party

Today, we organized a small New Year party at our department.

Sudha,Hema and Bharti took the initiative for the party and arranged for all the goodies. We all had contributed Rs 25 each.

Around 11.30,everything was arranged in pantry and we were notified...so we all went in line....got the paper plate...and had samosa,kachori and kajoo barfi....


Vandana,Chetana and I got our plates back to our seats and sat comfortably and had the goodies..... The snacks were so heavy that we all didnt have anything for lunch ,except for juice.

We were eating like small kids...and Deepak took our snap too....

It was good to have a together after pretty long time.

2008 was not very eventful for India what with many blasts and the Mumbai terror attacks.

Hopefully,2009 will be more happy,peaceful and prosperous.

We had an off at work, so it was a good beginning......

This new year, I received so many wishes and sms from friends . I was surprised because normally I don't get more than a handful of wishes......I am really hoping their wishes will work some magic for me this year....

Well,my handset does not support many messages.Already,I had some reminder messages on it ,s o I had to delete all the new ones :-(...

How did my day go?? Well,I woke up around 10 AM, went out and had a good breakfast.....3 eggs ,good coffee and 4 bread slices. Uske baad,I had a BOUNTY chocolate...it was yummy and an Apple juice...Then I had a Frostic chocobar and another apple juice.

After returning to my room, I switched on my ipod(gifted by a freind) . Actually, the ipod is on most of the time I am at home....
Filled the last few pages of my diary.....
Then it was time to wash my clothes....
Once that was done, was still listening to music and reading the new sms'es which were continuously pouring..Then Rahul called up.He too was bored since he could not go out somewhere and there was no TV at his place. He is recovering from the accident he had earlier this week.Thankfully, it was not a major one.
After sometime, I called up Reshma and we spoke for almost 2 hours.....So many sad things happening round us.........And one thing she said stuck ...she asked " y did u wash clothes on New Year? You will end up doing this entire year". :-( :-( :-(....I hope that doesn't happen


I thought of going to Vashi but was too lazy..went to office ...browsed a bit...saw bit of Ghajini till Asin's character got killed....They have executed the scene very well and she has acted well too...It was terrifying to see her ordeal in train and then at her flat.

Well,I did not do anything special on the first day of the new year

Today is one of my friend's wedding. What a great date :-).
Unfortunately I can't not attend the wedding is in Mangalore.

I really hope this year turns out peaceful and harmonious for one and all, with zero bomb blasts and better economy.
